The National Service Authority (NSA) has released postings for 106,223 national service personnel for the upcoming 2024/2025 service year.
The announcement, made on September 6, 2024, includes graduates from Ghanaian universities, Ghanaians who studied abroad, private applicants, and defaulters.
To address any remaining placements, the NSA will conduct a mop-up exercise. The Authority highlighted the significance of this mandatory national service as a critical step in supporting the country’s development.
For a smooth deployment process, all personnel must follow a detailed validation and registration procedure. It begins with logging onto the NSA website to check individual postings. Personnel are then required to print their appointment letters and have them endorsed by their assigned institution.
Subsequently, personnel must schedule an online appointment for in-person registration.
The final stage requires personnel to report to their designated Regional Validation and Registration Centre with the endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card.
Registration is set to commence on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and will close on Monday, September 30, 2024.
The NSA assured that the schedule would allow all personnel enough time to finalize their registration and prepare for service, which begins on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
In a key directive, the NSA announced that reposting requests would not be accepted.
They urged personnel to embrace their assignments as part of their civic duty, fostering a spirit of responsibility and commitment to national development.
